RL Burns Joint Venture -Assist Project Manager with writing subcontract agreements and purchase orders -Prepare Submittal Register per Contract Documents -Responsible for reviewing shop drawings and product data submittals for all CSI divisions -Assist Project Manager with getting subcontractor pricing for Owner Change Orders -Lead Owner/Architect/Contractor and Trade Partner meetings -Responsible for permitting process -Assist Superintendent with QA/QC -Responsible for management of RFIs -Responsible for maintaining and updating conformed set of drawings and specifications. -Document and report any construction work which does not comply with American Homes 4 Rent's standards to Construction Manager -Manage subcontractors to ensure quality of construction for all properties -Responsible for budget, schedule and subcontractor management for assigned multi family, single family and town houses. • Sumbit bids for commercial flooring subcontracts using company software STRUCTURE • Compile pricing from multiple flooring vendors for bidding • Check for availability of flooring products and get lead times • Communicate with product representatives to obtain pricing information • Communicate with Project Management and Field Superintendents for scope of work • Figure unit prices, spread rates and adjust markups • Provide break outs and cost clarifications • Review construction plans and specifications, and check for any estimating errors • Communicate with General Contractors for RFIs and submission of bids. -Construction Risk Analysis of multi-family projects -Review and analyze Contract Documents, Schedule of Values and P6 Schedules. • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with ground up construction of 6-story office building • Manage subcontractor coordination • Maintain and update daily and monthly material and labor logs • Price all changes to Contract Documents • Ensure all work is done per Contract Documents • Ensure safety standards are maintained • Process submittals and RFIs • Responsible for QA/QC. • Worked on geometric design of highways, roads, underpasses, drains and culverts • Marked centerline of highways • Redesigned the horizontal and vertical alignment of highway • Provided superelevation where required • Prepared typical section of highways showing physical features such as lane width, inner and outer shoulders, cross slope, etc • Provided lane marking and traffic signs where required • Prepared design drawings, estimates and cost reports.
